Below is a list of game servers for use by the Fair Play Society. Each server is owned and maintained by a particular member of FPS and may have one or more administrators.

Official Fair Play Society Servers

These are the official FPS servers, and use the main SourceBans and HLstatsX systems available from this web site.

European Servers

These servers run on a 2×Quad-Core Xeon server that also hosts this web site (and others), and connects to the Internet via a 100 Mbps dedicated connection.

Please Note: Servers #1-5 are Vanilla. Server #6 is vanilla plus CEVO (minus Ready Up).

SuperVersus (16-way versus!)

This server cannot be joined from a lobby, you can only join using connect 87.117.228.64:27021 from a console. The server is a work in progress so subject to change, etc…

How to use these servers

  1. Make sure you have the developer console enabled – it can be activated in the Options menu (go to “Keyboard/Mouse”, then Enable the “Allow Developer Console” option) and then displayed by pressing the tilde (~) key in game (you don’t need to press “Shift”)
  2. Open the developer console and type mm_dedicated_force_servers <ip>:<port> and press enter.
  3. Close the developer console, start a lobby for your chosen game type and get people to join.
  4. Hit Start Game.
