I think the game was pretty much a 50/50 split between FPS members and 8pm Vs. The announcement was made to fill the final few slots.
I think the idea of having a regular FPS 8v8 makes sense. (and tbf, it should be filled with the FPS members who want to join before inviting other groups in).
On a similar note, I haven't had a game that's been just FPS members for some time now, hence why i found players who prefer to play L4D more regularly than FPS members do.

Most of the FPS people that were active last night didn't even have a chance to join that game. :(

I wouldn't call it a merge as much as a cooperation with them. We're separate groups with different admins and different servers, but by doing this we're much more likely to fill up a 16-way server regularly. :-)

So, does that mean that we "merged" with them? That's good, I guess.

Hi, I discovered your steam group FPS through a thread on the steam L4D 2 group forums.

I would like to join if I can, I am having a tough time enjoying l4d and l4d 2 public games because of the ragequitting etc...

my steam username is ghostX0, and my email is akthor75@gmail.com, I'll be happy to answer any questions you have about me.

thanks, Andy
