Pictures!

Wednesday, December 9th, 2009

Head on over to the forums where you will be able to find pictures of the regulars in the FPS.

You will have to create a user (if you haven’t already) and contact The Team to make you a part of the user group “Regulars”

Only the people in that group can view the pictures.

If you’re not a regular in the chatroom, head on in and make yourself known and it won’t be long until you can see how ugly we all are (exept Rhys)

So head on in to see the pictures!

New Group Officers

Sunday, November 29th, 2009

The Leadership Elections have come to an end, and our two winners are Forsaken (14 votes) and Lockwolf (10 votes). Please join me in welcoming them to their new posts!

I’m very pleased with these appointments, and didn’t even have to use my tie-breaking votes (e.g. I, bootc, did not vote at all) to determine the winners. We also have one EU and one US admin which helps very much with time zone issues.

I have taken this opportunity to tidy up the admin users on the forums so that they include only myself, doberle (ReverendO), Forsaken and Lockwolf.

FPS Leadership Elections

Thursday, November 12th, 2009

There’s a poll set up in the FPS Forum to vote in some extra admins on the FPS group chat. I can’t be around all the time, and the same goes for ReverendO — so we need a couple of extra people who can manage the chat while we’re offline or not listening! Please head on over to the forum and vote for your preferred candidates.

The forum is just the PRC forum that I’ve moved over and renamed to be the FPS forum, so all your previous account details should still be intact. There you go folks!

Welcome to the Fair Playing Society

Sunday, November 8th, 2009

Following much discontent within the L4D Play Responsibly club, we decided to form a new group. This group has much the same aims as the PRC did, but we hope we can develop some better rules and enforce them more fairly. As with the PRC our main focus is Left 4 Dead and Left 4 Dead 2, but players of all games are welcome — including Team Fortress 2, Killing Floor, etc…

The FPS is a group of people who play games for fun and enjoyment and we pride ourselves on the quality of our games. For more information, see the about page or join the group chat through which we organise games. Group membership is invite-only at the moment, but everyone is welcome!
