After an impromptu Left 4 Dead 2 SuperVersus tonight I’ve decided that Monday nights should be SuperVersus Night. At 20:00 BST (UK) every Monday join the FPS SuperVersus Server and join in the fun!
Today’s impromptu game quickly filled up and we had people in chat waiting, so be quick and everyone can play.
The game will be run in combination with the 8pm Versus group which runs an L4D2 versus game at 20:00 every night of the week. We’ll try to keep things fair and keep a 50/50 split in the number of players from each group.
So, does that mean that we “merged” with them? That’s good, I guess.
I wouldn’t call it a merge as much as a cooperation with them. We’re separate groups with different admins and different servers, but by doing this we’re much more likely to fill up a 16-way server regularly.
Most of the FPS people that were active last night didn’t even have a chance to join that game.
I think the game was pretty much a 50/50 split between FPS members and 8pm Vs. The announcement was made to fill the final few slots.
I think the idea of having a regular FPS 8v8 makes sense. (and tbf, it should be filled with the FPS members who want to join before inviting other groups in).
On a similar note, I haven’t had a game that’s been just FPS members for some time now, hence why i found players who prefer to play L4D more regularly than FPS members do.
